He is a 2nd generation Greek-American, Meisner-trained (Bill Esper, Maggie Flanigan) character actor and producer, known for The Nutty Professor, Nutty Professor II: The Klumps, Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, Sneaky Pete, Bosch, and Spy Hard. He is married to actor, Wendy Gazele. They have one teenager, Ella, a competitive Ice Dancer for Team USA who lives and trains in Michigan.
